Emmanuel has been beekeeping since 2013 and is an active member of the Illawarra Branch of the ABA. He has his own backyard apiary in Sydney's inner west, collects swarms, runs a small website to promote awareness of bees in our environment at saveourbees.com.au and helps with the iT related tasks of our branch.

A Queensland-based research team led by Dr. Diana Leemon has completed a three-year research project as part of the AgriFutures™ Honey Bee and Pollination Program, investigating the development of an external attractant trap for SHB in an attempt to reduce numbers affecting hives.
