Illawarra Beekeepers Open Day 2017

Open Day 22nd April 2017

In conjunction with the Heritage Festival, 2017 our club opened its’ doors to the wider community with an open day. Visitors from the Sutherland Shire, near and far came to our Bee Gardens at Sutherland to see the bees and join in the fun.

We had many families including children, mums and dads throw on a bee suit to get their hands on the bee hives, enjoy a sausage sizzle and a cuppa. Thanks to all those that helped and everyone that visited us on the day.
