In response to the COVID-19 Crisis, Illawarra Beekeepers will suspend ALL activities until further notice, effective immediately. The decision has not been taken lightly with lengthy discussions within the committee taking into account the government’s recommendations and laws.

Please monitor our website for more details as the situation develops. We will continue to stay in touch with regular newsletters and updates in our website blog here.

So the short story is, NO Courses, NO Meetings, NO Field Days, and NO visits, effective immediately.

We Are Here For You

On a nicer note, Illawarra Beekeepers has been running for 60 plus years with many current members that have been around for most of it. We have developed a camaraderie and fondness for each other. A few members want me to advise that if any member needs help in any way NOT just Bee Related, please ask. Many members will run the odd errand or drop some supplies so please ask.

For New Beekeepers if we can answer questions that you now can’t ask at the club. Please just send me an email. If I can’t answer it, I will find someone who can.

The next Field Day was to be Sugar Shake Day. And because of this check out the video on YouTube from DPI below

Hope everyone keeps well and if we can be of any help, please contact me or your committee via our contact page here

Best Regards
Neal Robinson
(Vice President Illawarra Beekeepers)
